Dr. Hudson’s Research
Research undertaken by Dr. Hudson has conclusively proven that ozone will kill up to 99.9 of all known viruses on various hard surfaces normally found in hospitals, cruise ship and hotel rooms. Ozone will kill 99% of each of well-known viruses, bacteria and molds on various hard and soft surfaces found in hospitals, cruise ships, hotel rooms, and other spaces:
- Coronavirus
- Herpes simplex virus
- Influenza virus
- Polio virus
- Corona virus
- Rhinovirus
- Feline Calicivirus
- Norwalk virus

In addition, all the bacteria and fungi tested can be killed under similar conditions to that used to kill the viruses. Below you can view test results for Klebsiella Bacterium and Aureobasidium Fungus.

Dr. Hudson has written a number of peer reports for journals such as the Journal of hospital Disinfection which summarizes his results obtained during his many years of extensive research as well as third part laboratory reports using Food and Drug Administration protocols to test the Viroforce disinfection technology.
“Based on these results we conclude that the viruses tested are efficiently inactivated by gaseous ozone, on each of the surfaces tested, under conditions relevant to practical applications. We believe that ozone gas also has potential as a safe antiviral and anti-microbial agent in various other situations. Dr. Hudson has written a comprehensive report which summarizes his results obtained over the preceding two and half years. This has been sent to the BC Center for Disease Control for evaluation and received very positive feedback (see next section).
Dr. Petric – Centre for Disease Control Validation
A detailed report by Dr. Petric PhD, FCCM of the Vancouver Center for Disease Control, examined Dr. Hudson’s research report findings on May 15th 2006, and concluded in part: “Overall, the investigations performed at ViroForce Systems Inc. on the inactivation of viruses showed that O3 especially at elevated humidity is an effective agent for inactivation of structurally diverse viruses on dried on surfaces such as would be expected to occur in environmental contamination. The inactivation studies in field settings generated findings consistent with those obtained in the controlled laboratory setting. The O3 from the ViroForce generator was produced in adequate amounts to maintain a sufficient concentration to be effective in field setting. The studies were well designed from a scientific perspective and focused on the primary aim of proving that O3 is an effective agent for virus inactivation.”
